hm, its been a long time.

hah, i just read the last blog i posted. the amusing thing is how much i go on about rennovations, and how optimistic i seem to be about moving out soon. note the word "soon". this is ironic because, in fact, its been months since that post and guess what.. we still havent bloody moved out! there are a few less boxes hanging around because we've put some stuff into storage (which just makes it all the more infuriating to find things), but we're still in the same "death-trap" house. apparently there's been some sort of hinderance with the plans and we, therefore, cant begin construction yet. at this rate, it'll be the new year before we've even started! not good, considering i'll be in year 12 next year. somehow, i dont think moving house will be quite so convenient when im stuck under a mountain of work. not looking forward to it...

well, ever since i got a PS2, ive found myself addicted to guitar hero, kindgom hearts, and grand theft auto. this isnt healthy...
over the past couple of days, ive also been on a spending rampage due to the large sum of money i acquired from relatives for my birthday. (being 17 is boring)
somehow i seem to have managed to retain some of that money, leaving me with about $30 to spend. (oo, the choices)
mostly i appear to have bought cds. some good, some not so good.
ive also been buying many a gig ticket with my new fortune. example; la roux, kisschasy, soundwave 2010... exciting stuff. (Y)

a part of me was stolen the other day; my mother decided to throw out my polaroid camera without asking my permission. as a back story, i despise anyone touching/moving my stuff without my say-so, therefore i was pretty bloody angry.
what's more, i went down to the secondhand store in the hope that, perhaps, the camera might be there, but to no avail. it was gone.
this caused much tension and shouting in the Brown household for a few days after.
but ive given up on that idea for now. ive set my sights on bigger and better things; the nikon FM10 SLR film camera. no idea where im going to get one, but that's my current goal.

well, so far my holidays have comprised of too much spending, major bordem inbetween, too much PS2 playing, going to my dad's football matches where it was far too windy and cold for anyone's liking, and oh! i got a bank card.
one of my friends found it terribly difficult to believe that i didnt previously have one. so shocked that it caused her to question "but.. what if you ran out of money while you were out shopping?"
now, call me crazy, but ive NEVER had to ask myself this question in my entire life. the way i was brought up; if you run out of money, then quite obviously you cant buy anything else. surely this is logical, no?
its also quite obvious that this friend has quite a fair amount of money to spare, and therefore has never known a time where there hasnt been enough to spend.
which brings me to my final question;
when is it safe to say that someone has, simply, far too much money?

well at the moment my house has turned into the new site of "reverse garbage" due to the large amount of boxes clattering every hallway and corner. its hell.
you can barely move without tripping over or knocking into a box or a pile of rubbish.
i never even knew i had this much crap in my room..
well, in a few weeks i wont have to worry about clutter or crap coz it'll all be in storage anyways! this'll be the first time my room's been actually clean. well, it'll pretty much be desolate after all the stuff's cleared.
god i wish these renovations would just do themselves! i hate clearing out all this stuff.. i just want my new room lol.
yea... i wish.
but hey, it'll all be worth it when i have a new room and a second bathroom.. i just have to keep that in the back of my mind.
the question is now, can i be bothered to think about doing any schoolwork. no. not a chance.
i cant believe its been a whole week of hols already! it feels like ive done nothing!
damn...
well at least we've got another two weeks.
argh, driving lessons, schoolwork, clearing out the house.. too much to handle!!

well, once again, bordem has led me to write another blog post which - no doubt - i will soon look back upon and wonder what the fuck i was thinking of when i wrote it.
so anyways, its the.... third(?) day of holidays and i seem to have developed a cold [again!]
i hate having a sore throat. it seems that, no matter what i do, i cant get rid of it >_>
so unfair.
what i'd really like to do is go CD and clothes shopping atm.. however there's this thing called money... and at the moment i dont have it.
i really need a job. but so far ive had no replies to the six or so resumes i sent out. bastards.
oh well, i guess i'll just have to try again. ive considered applying for a job at kmart, but i dont want to reference myself as having worked at the hell hole i call Happy Loaf. its just depressing.
god knows how im going to get up the energy to balance a job, school work and driving lessons all in the one.. damn.
so far ive been listening to the same five songs for days now. is it healthy to be this addicted to music? im not sure.
something ive also noticed is that, during the past month or so, ive become addicted to Masterchef. this is sad, i know.
ive also become obsessed with a show called Being Human. (totally awesome with really hot guy = WIN!)
